From the 10th April 2014 you will not be able to obtain a visa at border crossings or at airports they must be bought in advance HERE

Wishing you all a merry christmas and a peaceful new year.

Thanks Don.
How this effect vehicles and vehicle details stamped in passports?
I had a look in the Q & A, but nothing there.

The vehicle import rules stay the same. You can import a vehicle duty free for a maximum of six months. The details are entered in your passport.

These visas must be to keep a check on all us immigrants visiting Turkey. Can't have you overstaying your alloted time and ending up dependant on the state.....

Have a lovely warm Christmas Don.

Don't even think about overstaying your Visa the penalties are very harsh.
