Camping near Izmir

Does anyone know of a campground near Izmir? Or a safe place to overnight park? Failing that, a campground further away where there is a bus service to Izmir?

Thank you iconnor. I have emailed them, but it looks like they might only be open in summer season.

Camping near Izmir

When are you going? Are you there now?

We parked up overnight last January at Aliaga
N38.81114
E 26.97814

if you look it is on this link
http://www.magbaztravels.com/content/view/1280/30/

though we thought a bit further along would have been better . . .

Fine for an overnight, but there have to be other possibilities near Izmir.

Don Madge might be the person to try, or look on magbaz website . . . or try Brenda and Adrian Wilson, also on magbaz . . .

Hi Helen,
Thank you for your reply and I have bookmarked your blog. We are currently in Troia and will be heading south in a few days. Will check out your Aliaga spot, but we are also going to Bergama (though the campsite there hasn't answered my email asking if they are open off season).
