At least you know I'm not driving a BMW ......

The mic on the camera picks up noises we don't notice - such as 'bumps' from the road surface - and coughs and throat clearing we don't even realise we are doing.

Still, any chance of more French trips would be a bonus in these uncertain times .......

Thank you Keith, I remember both of those places so well. A long time ago John used to have a house in the Correze and we used to visit places like Beaulieu-sur-Dorgogne and Martel. We've also stayed at them both in the van, about 10 years ago. I'm not sure if that aire was in Martel then, we stayed overnight in the car park of the Chemin de Fer Touristique, which doubled as an aire at night. Can't wait to get back to that area.

Any more from round that way?

The Martel Aire had only just been opened in that location when we called.

Souillac tomorrow - but there's not much point posting the 2017 video as the site has changed almost beyond recognition and become a 'Camping-Car site' with pay barrier and well laid out bays.

You need a 'Lifetime' entry card, easy to get, and this site has gone the way of many by not being free.

It makes me feel very privileged to have a home in Haute Vienne and less than two hours drive away from these lovely places. I have a video of one trip from Limoges to Eyemoustier - not by motorhome but by train.

I will add that as far as I know it was only French people featured in the video.

Another short overnight stop on our meanderings around France four years ago.

There was an identical Motorhome to ours on this Aire - "Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world - I drive into .......... "
