Newhave to Dieppe £66 return.

OK it's in the car but I found this route to be not too far out of my way and only 4 hour crossing compared to BF to Caen taking six hours and costing £188with a discount. Over 60 years and you get 20% off just for asking.

But you have to book by telephone rather than on line or in person.

We love the stopover in Dieppe and a day in Brighton.................it always feels like the start of our trip (well sometimes it's the end)

Spooky travelled with us for 5 years and over 20,000 miles. He died aged 11 and is buried in Delphi in Greece.
Now that's a great age and a great adventure for a rabbit and I think he deserves a mention.

I assume you are looking at booking Dieppe-Newhaven. Are the fares the same in reverse?

Just took a look myself for the end of next week...........

£380 return car and 2 people!!

OK - we are both under 60, but I dont think a 20% discount would help much here!

Like all ferry companies this routes fares will depend on date, duration and times of travel.

Mrs eura went back to UK with 3 others on this route, this month from Dieppe on 08th and return on 11th normal size car with 20% discount cost was £149.

We’ve used that route too, long time ago so can’t recall what the cost was.
However, it’s possible to overnight at 5he Newhaven end and at the Dieppe end too, so very convenient. Unfortunately nowadays it’s just a little to long to subject our dog to be left down on the vehicle deck.

I'm not signing anything.

The two impulses in travel are to get away from home, and the other is to pursue something - a landscape, people, an exotic place. Certainly finding a place that you like or discovering something unusual is a very sustaining thing in travel.
