French DVLA

Does anyone know if it's possible to find the registered owner or address of a French registered vehicle please? Like the DVLA.

I'm afraid the DVLA doesn't show the owner or address Ray, only that the vehicle is taxed.

Previously, they showed the address of the garage that supplied the MOT, but that info has now been removed.

Not online, but you can write to the DVLA on whichever form it is and (for a fee) get for name and address of the registered keeper.

Ray, you might be able to find the information you want by going into your local Prefecture online and typing in "propriétaire précédent ou véhicule". Don't know whether this will work or not.

Ah, OK and thanks. Always worth a try. Actually it was for someone else so I will suggest it to him.

I was aware of that. However HurricaneSmith's post implied/said it was not possible to get those sort of details from the DVLA. I was merely pointing out that it was. I didn't say I had the solution to the problem in France. I'll get my coat.
