Aire at St Valery sur Somme

Price for 24 hours now 10.
There are now two fully functioning motorhome service points. The original at the entrance and one located in the centre of the aire. Taps have been replaced or refurbished and everything in good working order.
New steps over the bank to access the pedestrian alley down to the boulangeries and town.
I know a lot of us use this aire and might find the above info useful.

I'm not signing anything.

The two impulses in travel are to get away from home, and the other is to pursue something - a landscape, people, an exotic place. Certainly finding a place that you like or discovering something unusual is a very sustaining thing in travel.

Was 10 Euro last time we visited in Nov 2014. Still our favourite for a last night stay.

yes, I was there a couple of weekends ago, it was actually free! The entrance and the lower service point had been newly tarmacced, and the barriers were open. when we left in the morning the guys had just arrived to set the wires in the new tarmac for the entrance sensors.

We walked down into the town for a meal and also walked all the way along to the old castle and back along the new promenade as the tide rushed in. A lovely spot.
GerryD and GerryD like this.
