Brugge Aire Update

Brugge Aire - If your coming this way note that the day parking/overflow area is now closed, and it looks permanent. Still no drinking water available, either on the main aire or the adjacent coach park. This has been the case for over a year now so that looks permanent also. Twenty five euroís a night and no drinking water seems like taking the mickey to me. Bottled water is available at the rail station supermarket - ten minutes walk. This very popular and ultra convenient aire is going downhill for reasons I canít really understand given the money it brings in.

Thanks for the update Ron.

I've often used that overflow aire as I never tire of wandering around Brugge and spending my money.

Looks like I've visited the place for the last time.

There is a cracking little Aire a few miles south of Brugge that we used when we visited. Ä8 inc services and EHU. You will need some form of transport, bikes, scooter, E bikes etc but its a lovely spot and a flat straight ride on a quiet road to Brugge.

We generally use the aire at Beernam possibly a little nearer for around 10Euros with an easy 30min ride along the tow path into Brugge
