Route Challenge!

I am off to Austria (Zell am Zee) in July and for the first time I am struggling to decide on a route.

To make it easy I will be at Calais (after a night's sleep in Cite Europe) on the Friday morning and need to be in Austria for Monday lunch time.

With two kids i like to be away early and stop at an Aire / site for 1pm so 250 miles tops in a day.

The route should take me through Belgium, Luxembourg, Stuttgart, Munich and its about 700 miles. I will be staying for a week and then have 7 days to make my way back to the UK slowly.

So the challenge.... where do you stop on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday?? I have been trying to find interesting places to stop rather than just somewhere to sleep.

I have Autoroute and that gives me a different route towards Bonn and then down to Munich.

We bought ours near the border of Italy/Austria. Only cost less than 3 euros for a 10 day pass. It was in a museum but there are plenty of signs to say where to buy them.
