Why am I having to sign in every time?

Just recently every time I come to MHF I am having to sign in I'm a lifetime member till 21-10-2068 so it isn't that I owe money. Anyone else got a similar problem or know how I can solve it please. Am getting a tad fed up of it. Mrs Bob (aka Jools)

I suspect the problem is that the device you are signing in on isn't "remembering" your log-on and / or password details. Do you know if it's your username or password or both that aren't being remembered? The answer possibly lies in cookies, browser settings, password storage settings but it also depends what browser and operating system you are using.

Hmm - this computer seems to remember everything else I throw at it so why MHF should be different beats me. Regardless of whether it's firefox or chrome if I follow the link I get

I signed in yesterday to post, the computer and browser were on all night. This afternoon (less than 24 hours later) I have to sign in again. It just doesn't make sense

Having seen your screenshots I would tend to agree that it is an MHF issue!

I have it too. I now leave an email from MHF in my inbox at all times so that I can go to the site through there. My laptop automatically remembers passwords.

When I just pressed "post" it gave me a "Time Out" screen.
