Yep, and not opening quite often too. To be honest I count it as normal for that to happen from time to time now and wouldn't even have commented except to confirm what you say Jan.

Hello there,

Thanks for the heads up.

For starters, did you try clearing your caches and cookies to see if that worked?
If this still occurring today?

Ed

It was nothing to do with clearing cookies or anything else - the server ground to a halt. Alternatively it's connection to the outside world ground to a halt. It ground to a halt for me and I know enough to identify where the fault was and it wasn't at the user end.

I found it fascinating that almost no-one bothered to report the server problem knowing full well it was just part of the VS experience.

I bet no-one was surprised that the help given was the usual liturgy to clear our cookies. 🙄

Not QUITE as slow but still slower than virtually any other web page

Sadly, that has become the norm and yes I have cleared cookies etc and do find such a trivial response from VS to be somewhat annoying - they have virtually universally failed to do what they have promised since they too over.

But it is not worth repeating or linking to their promises - they have discarded all of them by failing to deliver and hoping that we will give up noticing.......

Remember Jo Cox and what she stood for.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.
