VS Take note

I just got this page, and it really is not good enough, you have neglected this forum for long enough, it is way past the time all our problems should have been fixed so may I kindly request that you extract your digit from up your ass and fix the problems of the site.

It's also not importing my dropbox images either now.

Never yet met a Yank I couldn't take an immediate dislike to, and the way this forum is going I’ll add those a bit northwards too.

It's ridiculous Simon, our little tinpot forum runs 99% perfectly, any hiccups either you or I are on to tech support and it gets sorted more or less straight away, and I dare say they have as many forums to look after as VS does, the difference being Website toolbox actually give a toss.

Sadly, IMO, Vs are ONLY interested in total numbers of subscribers or members, they can use that very inflated figure to show potential advertisers how many people MIGHT be lokng at any advert that they care to pay VS for......

That figure of course, includes all of the historical members from years gone by when the forum was busy and thriving,

It includes the spouses of those that paid for membership 'cos all of those were entitled to membership on the back of the subscriber.....

It includes the thousands who sign up, as one question (such as "Where is the fuse for the interior courtesy light on a Fiat ?")

It includes the very many people who have long migrated to Fun elsewhere,

Sadly it includes many that no longer use MH for many reasons,

It includes many people who joined MHF solely to use the posts as an advertising medium - "There is an outstanding cleaning company called Prime Cleaners of Kingston Upon Thames - I used them and they were superb." Posted by a member called Prime Cleaners of KUT..... or some such,

It includes very many that joined from India or China solely yo see how many forums they could join before they were blocked (by the then Moderators)

and do on......

VS have promised much, but have delivered nothing..... so presumably VS does not stand for the alleged Vertical Systems but more likely Very Sparse.

You are wasting your time (sadly as am I ) 🤔. 😢. 👎

That's how Very Sparse make their money.......

I prefer vertical slope, as that's more descriptive of how they manage us.

Hello there,

The 524 errors are something we're aware of and looking into.
However, these errors are unique to each user.
Are you still encountering this today?
Usually, these errors should disappear after a simple refresh.

The one thing we all have to bear in mind is that they own all the information on here and keep it live as long as the advertising revenue is coming in.

I have started to download the useful pages and threads that we all have built up over the years.

I am prepared for the day they decide it is no longer profitable and tell us there will not be a Forum as from tomorrow.

It's like having a back up of important data in case the PC is stolen or just does not work anymore.........................think about what you would miss if this Forum was no

longer available as from tomorrow

Now that's a great age and a great adventure for a rabbit and I think he deserves a mention.

Yes but the "escort" thread is still there despite many complaints and reports, along with a few other recently posted unwanted trash.
