Farewell Star

Star, our Standard Poodle, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday after a short illness. In the afternoon I thought he was getting better but, despite the vets having him on oxygen and a drip, he passed away in Barb's arms in the evening. He was just 7, in his prime. The house seems so empty now and our other dog Charlie still seems subdued.

I'm very sorry. It's a bloody awful time and very hard, Bramble went at 4. It does pass and the tears do stop. All the best.

When the time is right, you should get another.

Personal Aire
Such a sad time, people will say you will get over it in time, but how long is 'time' lost my best pal six weeks ago, still shed a tear every day. I wish you both well.

Really sorry to hear of your loss. It's a horrible time and I can't help but shed a little tear every time I read on here about a loved pet passing away.

All the best,
Lesley

Feel for you - keep your chin up just approaching the time we started to loose Boris at only four. Still breaks our hearts despite a houseful of puppies.

Feel sad for you. Lost three dogs myself over the years, it's the absolute pits.
