Lidl inside outside temperature guage

I bought one about two years ago and it's been working fine, but I think the battery is going flat, it kept beeping in the van, but has stopped since I brought it indoors, any I couldn't find the damned manual as usual and it took ages to Google the correct one, so here is a link in case anyone else has lost theirs.

Thermometer

That's really useful as we have one, which has also started beeping(in the middle of the night) so lets look in the manual.

I think we decided last time that the beeping was actually an alarm when the outside temperature dropped below.....freezing probably.

We hang ours outside the cab window.......
Where do you hang yours ????

If it is anything like my weather station, the beeping means it has reached the low temperature it is set to beep on.

It is a low temperature warning. Pressing the top arrow button on the right-hand side toggles the warning on/off.

Fitted mine last year over the cab blind and caught said button when I used the sun visor. Woke us in the middle of the night.

Yes it is low temp causing the beep.

Not got around to reading the manual yet though.

Glad it's already helped someone.

Knew at once what the problem was. Put frost setting on by mistake, it beeped most of the night, i slept through it, but SIL who was with me spent rather a long time finding the source of the noise.
She took a bit of stick from me and our friends because she is the proverbial log once asleep.
Not nearly as much stick as me though

If I remember it beeps when the temperature drops to +3c.

Woke us up a few times till we found out what it was, and how to stop it. Its easy to press the button without knowing it.

Thanks for the reminder.
